What is a soap-free cleanser? Soap is a cleansing agent made from fats and oils, commonly used for body care but can be drying due to its pH. Soap ingredients often include alkali salts like sodium palmitate or sodium cocoate, as found in Dove Beauty Bar. Our Gentle Foaming Cleanser, however, uses soap-free agents, making it ideal for those needing a gentle, soothing cleanse without the drying effects of soap.
