- DO NOT use Omnilux Contour LED system if you suffer from lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism. If you use the Omnilux Contour LED system to treat lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism you may cause a severe skin reaction.

- DO NOT use Omnilux Contour LED system if you suffer from any photosensitive disorder (sensitization to light). If you use the Omnilux Contour LED system and you suffer from a photosensitive disorder you may cause a severe skin reaction.

- DO NOT use Omnilux Contour LED system if you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity. If you use the Omnilux Contour LED system and you are taking any medication that can causes photosensitivity you may cause a severe skin reaction.

Photosensitivity is a common side effect of various medications. These can include certain antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, St John's wort, coal tar, deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners, naphthalene (mothballs), petroleum products, brightening agents found in laundry detergent, and cadmium sulphide (a chemical injected into the skin during tattooing).

The Omnilux Contour is a safe, non-invasive LED light therapy device designed to improve skin health and target signs of ageing. While generally well-tolerated, some clients may experience mild side effects. These potential side effects include:

1. Temporary Redness or Warmth: The light emitted by the device may cause slight redness or a warm sensation immediately after use. This is usually mild and resolves within a few hours.

2. Increased Skin Sensitivity: Some users may notice their skin feels more sensitive after treatment, especially if they have a compromised skin barrier or use active ingredients like retinoids or exfoliating acids.

3. Mild Dryness or Flakiness: In rare cases, the skin may feel a bit dry or flaky after consistent use, particularly if hydration isn’t prioritised post-treatment.

4. Hyperpigmentation Risk: For those with darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV-VI), or on photosensitive medications there is a small risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) if blue light is overused or if the skin reacts strongly. This will fade but can last up to 6 weeks.

Still waiting to see the result

I have the Omnilux face mask, the neck one and have found them both work well. However, I haven't seen much improvement with the Glove yet. I do like the new design that only need to press the button rather than have a heavy battery unit.

Hand care with Omnilux

I have used this unit and have to date not found any difference, The battery life is quite short compared to the face and neck units which annoys me as i use it on my hands both side and feet for arthritis. I will need to come back in a while for an update. I have also learned to not bother about the battery life. I have the face and neck and love them. Chat soon hopefully i can go 5 star

I bought this product because I own the neck and the face omnilux products and love them. This is very easy to use and has made a difference to my aging hand skin. I am hoping the red light therapy improves my aching hands too

I’m hopeful

I’ve been using the face & neck LED mask from this brand for few months now, and feel that my neck looks a little better & little smoother. I’m not hundred percent convinced (as I’m using other anti-aging topicals as well), but it’s easy to do, very relaxing and has a great review, so decided to get one for the hand as well. No dramatic change, but again it’s looking smoother and slightly more even toned. I’m going to keep on using them to see what can happen in few more months.
