Advanced Day Ultimate Protect: Premium and modern sun filters carefully selected for their photostability, high performance on the skin, and skin friendly benefits. Boosted by DNA repair enzymes. Exposure to UV rays can result in DNA damage, with a resulting effect on natural processes such as free radical defence mechanisms.

Photolyase, a light-activated enzyme, supports the skin's natural repair mechanisms to prevent the future formation of visible fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation caused by UV exposure. Advanced Day Ultimate Protect features sustainably sourced blueberry seed oil, a natural shield against blue light. Blue light from the sun can cause free radical damage or visible hyperpigmentation across the complexion. Blueberry seed oil is able to absorb the blue light before it hits the skin, minimising damage from blue light exposure.

Marrubium vulgare extract provides superior anti-pollution defence to limit the damage caused by environmental pollutants, by protecting the skin cells and helping to strengthen the skin barrier. Carnosine is a multi-tasking dipeptide which protects from both glycation and infrared.

Advanced Day Ultimate Protect uses carnosine to help inhibit the glycation reaction and keep skin protected from glycation-derived skin ageing. Carnosine can also protect the skin from infrared rays, which make up around half of the sun’s rays and are known to play a part in the breakdown of collagen. Nourishing squalane and hydrating hyaluronic acid work to infuse the skin with long-lasting moisture, smoothing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

C-Tetra Vitamin C Serum:  Your skin is packed full of natural antioxidants that defend against free radicals from the environment. When these environmental free radicals outweigh your skin’s antioxidants, the skin can no longer protect itself. Free radicals latch onto the defenceless skin cells, causing irreparable damage, which ultimately leads to premature ageing. C-Tetra contains tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, a super-stable form of vitamin C that boosts the antioxidant defence levels in the skin. Ever the multi-tasker, it also stimulates collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the complexion plump, radiant and youthful looking. As a lipid-soluble form of vitamin C, it is able to penetrate the skin’s defensive lipid barrier with ease; delivering benefits deep within the skin. Vitamin C and vitamin E work together synergistically as 'network antioxidants', boosting the serum’s overall antioxidant effect to keep skin protected throughout the day.

Press & Glow: Balance is key when it comes to exfoliation; overuse of powerful AHAs everyday can often lead to sensitisation of the skin and premature skin ageing due to the skin’s inability to repair itself. PHAs are made up of larger molecules than AHAs and BHAs, meaning they do not penetrate into the skin as deeply and instead exfoliate the surface of the skin. This makes PHAs the perfect match for those even with sensitive skin, who want to achieve true daily exfoliation while keeping the skin barrier healthy.

Gluconolactone is a high-performing PHA which breaks down the glue between dead skin cells whilst effortlessly hydrating the skin due to its humectant (water-loving) properties, ensuring the skin remains cool and comfortable after use. It breaks down the bonds between dead skin cells allowing them to shed off with ease, restoring both texture and tone; unveiling that enviable skin glow. Gluconolactone is clinically proven to work perfectly in partnership with vitamin A, as it can aid the absorption of vitamin A and get the gold-standard anti-ageing ingredient to exactly where it is needed in the skin.

Press & Glow also harnesses the powers of prickly pear extract which helps to boost the activity of natural exfoliation enzymes, allowing the skin exfoliation cycle to return to a more youthful pace. This again works well in conjunction with vitamin A for all round skin cell rejuvenation. While the enzymes help to restore the natural exfoliation in the upper layers of the skin, vitamin A helps to boost cell regeneration from the lower layers of the epidermis. Aloe vera and acai extract use their calming properties to visibly take down inflammation and irritation, whilst hydrating the skin.
