Step-by-Step

Step 1: Pre-CleanserGently massage the pre-cleanser onto dry face and neck, focusing on areas with heavy makeup or impurities. Wet your hands and continue massaging to emulsify the product. Thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water.

Step 2: CleanserGently massage the cleanser onto damp face and neck in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Step 3: TonerDepending on the toner, either spray directly onto your face or dispense onto a cotton pad. Swipe the cotton pad across your face and neck or gently pat the toner into your skin with your hands.

Step 4: SerumApply a few drops of serum to your fingertips. Gently press and smooth the serum over your face and neck. Lightly pat your skin to help absorption.

Step 5: MoisturiserTake a small amount of moisturiser onto your fingertips. Gently massage the moisturiser into your face and neck in upward, circular motions. Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours, after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying.

My favourite day protection

I really like this as my daily sun protection especially since the change of formula about a year ago. The new formula smells nice and doesn't feel like a greasy sunscreen (which is how the old formula used to feel). I also think it blends and absorbs a lot better than the old formula which took some work to get rid of the white cast The moisturised feel lasts a long time and isn’t too shiny.

Not for me

I exclusively used Image skin care products and previously tried their spf moisturiser (several years ago) but it would irritate my skin and sting when applied. Luckily I found a great spf50+ facial sunscreen which I've been using, but wanted to give the daily prevention moisturiser another go to simplify my routine. Unfortunately even with the new look and formula this product still stings when I apply it and does not feel good on my skin. Such a shame as I truly love the other Image skincare products I use.
