Sheet masks are all the hype at the moment, a new obsession on Instagram and Facebook with everyone posting selfies with sheet masks on. They’re actually really fun, and diverse to your daily skin ritual at home.
So what is all the fuss about?
The sheet masks are an innovative alternative to the original clay, cream, or gel masks. They are a perfect treatment for a gift or a special occasion to target quick hydration, detoxifying, or brightening of the skin.
A sheet mask can come in cotton, paper, bio-cellulose fibres, silicon, or even a gel collagen texture. They are pre-soaked in personalised serums to treat all skin concerns and conditions from dehydrated, sensitive, dry, ageing, acne, and oily skins.
Sheet masks also count with a special delivery system for the skin’s best absorption of highly concentrated serums.
Finally, another advantage of a sheet mask is that it comes in various sizes to treat the face, neck and delicate eye area, but also décolletage, and hands - as you can see in the Wrinkles Schminkles range.
How to use a sheet mask?
Remove the sheet mask from package and position it side down on clean, dry skin.
Smooth to fit the curves of the face adjusting around eyes, nose, and mouth, then gently peel mesh away from the mask.
#protip I love adding a sheet mask to my skin regime once a week or for a special occasion to give my skin an instant hydration plump, with a dewy and brighter look.
