Light does not shine on the middle part of your nose due to the split despite claims it will
Light does not shine on the middle part of your nose due to the split despite claims the light will disperse, as can be clearly seen from my photo where the light does not shine directly onto my eyes (as it should not given not enough research has been done to confirm if that's safe or not - and omnilux specifically states their masks are safe for eyes - meaning if the light can't be seen shining onto your eyes from the mask then the light is not being directed to your eyes), or onto my lips due to the mouth gap. But you can see the light is shining through the mouth gap onto my chin where the mask hovers over that area - but does not fit snugly because the mask is flat and is very large for a small face (omnilux men and women mask have the same dimensions). I'm unsure why omnilux doesn't just have a full nose piece as competitor masks do, and am quite disappointed because I thought the mask would cover my nose area and I want to reduce the size of pores on my nose and a scar I have on the tip of my nose, but given this split in the nose design I am not getting effective LED light on those areas.

Way too big for a small woman's face
I read all reviews online and ascertained this men's mask has the exact same dimensions as the woman's mask, so bought this because it has the additional light therapy waves compared to the standard woman's mask. But it is huge, and trying to make it fit a smaller face means it's very uncomfortable, especially because it has a light sticking out right on the upper nose part that digs in severely and is very uncomfortable while using, then leaves an indented mark afterwards that takes ages to go away for me, when you try and tighten the mask so it fits snugly to your face. The nose part is separated, and flares out so light doesn't even shine on all of your nose - it should just be one whole nose piece, but because it's not I have to spend the 10 minute treatment time holding the separated nose piece together, so it's not hands free and thus not what I expected and instead very inconvenient. Because this mask is so large, it also flares away from the lower part of your face when you tighten the straps behind your head, making you try and hold it against your chin and lower cheeks, again very inconvenient and does not make it hands free. There are also no lights on the upper lip area, and what woman/man does not want their upper lip area exposed to the light therapy, given most of us get creases there!? Many improvements needed for this device to be appropriate for all users, and omnilux really needs to make a mask that suits most women's smaller faces and not just have it…

Hi Madison, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback on this mask. I believe you may be strapping the mask on too tight as it shouldn't feel uncomfortable or leave any indentations. On some areas of the face (eg the forehead, nose) the mask will sit flushed against the skin. On the other areas like the chin, it may not sit flushed to the skin and this is ok- the light will still be benefiting the skin. Many of the LED treatments in salon aren't in contact with the skin. The light will come in contact with the skin and it will have the same effect whether its against the skin or slightly off. In regards to the nose, the light will be dispersed to cover the entire nose area with the LED light that emitted from the mask. Omnilux have also shared that the Men's Omnilux Mask will not provide a stronger or faster effect to a womans skin. While there is no harm in women using the Men's mask, please note that most women will receive the full benefits of LED with the Contour mask. The reason they engineered the Men’s device with a deeper penetrating wavelength of near-infrared light is so that men can also get the maximum benefits of LED treatment, as the 633nm and 830nm wavelengths alone may not give them as robust of a cellular response due to their thicker skin type. My new skin hero
2 weeks in and I can already see a visible difference in my skin. A recent scar above my eyebrow is healing amazing and my complexion is much clearer all over. I chose the men’s omnilux after careful research as I wanted something stronger for scar recovery and it has not disappointed.

Great part of my skin arsenal!!!
Fits a blokes face really well, and the stronger and different wavelength lights set it apart from the females. I love mine and use it nightly, it helps my creams absorb too.

Omnilux Men is the first LED mask that is targeted specifically for Men's skin which is quite different to a woman's skin.
